One performer who's done it himself in a most gobsmacking way is Alastair Artingstall. A superb guitarist, and writer of the most exquisite, well-crafted songs, he's just come up with one of the most amazing self-financed albums I've heard. Annie Windley – Ret Rhythm |

Hi Alastair, Just found myself humming destiny falls and was wondering how you were... sounds like things are going really well and other people are enjoying your album an awful lot – its been a while since we were drinking tea and reading your first review! Its also been a bloody long time since any rockshops/blagging freebees from you/drinking sherry with you so I hope you're really well and life is treating you very kindly – I'm still on the same old number if you're ever in Brighton. Loads of love, kate xxxx

I've been listening to Alastair's CD since I met him last Saturday. Is it addictive or what? I wish I had the eloquence of Annie Windley (above) and could express what I think. "Superb" and "exquisite" should be underlined in her critique. Thank you so much, Alastair Isabel (from Spain)

Frankly, when I made up a list of my favourite popular music albums of all time, the debut by this artist appeared in the Top One (or thereabouts). But I'm sure he could do better :0)
