"it's beautiful" is really beatiful! love it! kinda reminds me of eletrico. it's a great feeling hearing ur song, it's got that modern life story in it. it's really great. i like to draw things that links to music and this songs is a great inspiration for an art piece.

Ok, i admit that the theme song for Chase aired on Ch5 sounds soothing and nice. Have been playing it repeatedly for almost an entire day, and still it didn't died dreadfully like the titanic theme song. But, I said but, the lyrics sounded quite quirky when i paid serious attention to it. The lyrics part for "It's Beautiful" where it goes - Although you've tried, And how you tried/ And so it goes, That's how it goes - doesn't seems to go well. Forgive my arogance, as i ain't trained in any music instruments. Maybe it would have sounded better - Although you've tried, As hard you might/ And so it goes, you never know.

Hi there, I just wanted to post and say how ridiculous the statement below is.  Dennis, your problem is nothing to do with the quality or tone of music from the past fifteen years (!) it's more that you've allowed yourself to become stuck in a musical timewarp.  How rude of you to write someone off because of an assumption you've made. I'm stunned that you voice this assumption and then offer irrelevant direction on how to make music which will suit your taste.  It'd probably still fall of deaf ears though, wouldn't it? It'll never be as good as the stuff from when they knew how to write songs, eh?        I'm not one to do this sort of thing but I'm outraged by this.        Oh and Len, top songs mate.

Hi, I chanced upon your page whilst looking up something entirely different in Google.        Now, one thing which has totally bugged me since Kurt Cobain made it big and coked-out record executives decided to drop everything in favour of "grunge" and then "alternative" as their major marketing push is that the vast majority of rock acts since have failed to do one thing:  Rock.  Rock was no longer fun - these guys all either had to sound like their lyrics were going to establish them as the next Dylan or the lyrics were so laced with irony and cynicism that it totally sucked the life out of the music.          What we need are some good, rockin' bands that stick it in your face.  And who take the time to actually show their skill on their instruments - check the amazing guitar work on Ozzy's Randy Rhoads Tribute or any of Van Halen's Live double-CD.  Unfortunately kids are being convinced that if they even attempt to learn some interesting licks on their axe of choice they are "selling out", so there's no chance that they'll even attempt to push the musical envelope any further.          You wrote that you wrote music with:        intelligent rock music without the spandex, the big hair and the unnecessary noodling        For heaven's sake, everybody and his dog is attempting to churn this stuff out in the darkness of their bedroom/recording studio (I know, I've got one myself, in my bedroom :-)  And they're all just programming up a bunch of computerised instruments, ensuring that there should be no other human interaction whilst creating.  This leads to the moan and drone school of songwriting; I'm starting to feel like I've been listening to the same flipping song for the last ten years.        My advice: go back and listen to the great gospel preachers, learn how they project; then listen to the great bluesmen, learn their great original riffs.  Only *then* start bringing yourself up to date with Clapton, Richards, then the guitar gods of the 70's and, yes, the hair metal 80's.  Then get yourself some like-minded mates, plug it all in and *rock*.          With all due respect, I'm not going to even attempt to listen to any samples of your music as I can guess exactly how it goes, as I can guarantee it will fit one of several styles of songwriting prevalent today.  Hmm, maybe I'll go check to see if I'm right.        Cheers
