ACOUSTIC EVENING OF ECLECTIC M 16/05/2007 Calling All Bands, Duos, Solo Artists!! We are looking to fill an acoustic evening with a variety of different up and coming acts. SUNDAY 3RD JUNE & MONDAY 4TH JUNE, 8PM A great chance to come and perform live in front of an eager 'listening' audience. All slots are 20-25 mins. I first heard Stolie in 2001 when she was playing her guitar in seemingly modest setting of my apartment. She was having her photo taken by photo-extraordinaire--and my old roommate and long-time friend--Chris Nightengale. Her sounds are melodic and angel-like and she has sounded better everytime that I have seen her. I'm no longer in Chicago, but I still have my Stolie CD and my burned copy of Live at the BBQ. (Hint: Ask her to do Curse of the Rand Bird, it's great). Anyway, if she ever ventures into your town, stop by and hear her. I guarantee, you won't forget that voice. Peace.
