Heckling of humorous or silly acts actively encouraged. Banter welcome. Venue is known and reputable for bringing the most original acts in West London, both in music and comedy, to wider attention. All acts are booked - bookings done with promoter/host (tcapulet@gmail.com). All acts chosen, promoted, given equal slots. Night hosted by ZenDog. Any act who brings over ten people is paid also, relative to number of people - ask. Transport - Bus 65 stops outside, Kingston station is also around the corner, literally. The second of our September gigs to celebrate our 3rd Birthday ! As usual, an eclectic selection of musical styles, which promises to make this a very special night indeed. We welcome back the enchanting Ana Silvera ( last in Norwich for her headlining gig at Norwich Arts Centre ) and suggest you grab this chance to catch her in such an intimate setting. Her music is intensely beautiful and moving. Joining her on the bill is Florida-based singer-songwriter Roy Schneider , a fine player and a writer of warm, often witty audience-friendly Americana, and ODi , Irish-based purveyors of brilliant contemporary folk/rock . As usual, a whole evening of choice live music in a beautiful and atmospheric setting will set you back just £5 on the door. Music starts at 8pm, but please come early to make sure of your seat...we've had capacity crowds the last few months. Evening starts at 8.30 p.m. We've got a P.A, some microphones, and an amp, but musicians are encouraged to bring their own instruments and gear, bearing in mind the longer it takes to set up, the less time people have to play. We welcome duos, trios, ensembles etc, but regret that we really can't deal with full drum kits, due to space and time restrictions. As a rule of thumb, you get 15 minutes / 3 songs minimum per set, with the hope of getting the keener people up twice, but this can vary depending on how busy the evening is.
